What Happened
Our Astro Club's "Celestial Quest 2" marked by a fantastic collaboration with the Quiz Club! This partnership broadened the event's reach, attracting participants from diverse academic majors and departments beyond our usual astronomy enthusiasts. The quiz, designed to challenge and engage, fostered a vibrant atmosphere of intellectual curiosity and friendly competition. This quiz was hosted by one of our Core Committee members Aranya Mukherjee from 23MS. By combining our astronomical expertise with the Quiz Club's event organization skills, we created a truly interdisciplinary experience, proving that the wonders of the universe can captivate minds from all fields of study.
Speaker / Author
Aranya Mukherjee, a third year undergraduate at IISER Kolkata pursuing major in Physics. He is primarily interested in Light-Matter Physics, Quantum Physics & Experimental Physics. Being highly interested in Quantum Mechanics, he has worked with Quantum Weak Measurements and Light-Matter interaction at nano-scales. He aims to understand Quantum phenomenon more and contribute to the research community in solving the mysteries of the Quantum world. He is highly interested in Music, Movies and everything that makes nature fascinating!
