Prof. Rajesh Kumble Nayak, a faculty member in the Department of Physical Sciences at IISER Kolkata. His research interests span gravitational wave data analysis, general relativity, and relativistic astrophysics. He also enjoys exploring mathematical and computational physics, and sharing his curiosity for the cosmos through teaching and collaborative science. Outside of his academic pursuits, he has a deep interest in hands-on science, open-source software, and creative learning. Whether building small telescopes, experimenting with rockets, or discussing the philosophy of science, he believes in learning by doing.
